I am thrilled to be joining the Wildwood team this year! I have spent time studying at Brock University, earning a dual degree in the Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education fields. Combined with my work experience as a camp counsellor, respite worker, and educational assistant, I have spent most of my life working with children. My educational philosophy revolves around the idea that every student has the capacity to learn when given the proper tools and support to be successful; it is our role as teachers to accommodate this support. Of utmost importance to the learning environment is one where every student feels like a respected and valued member of the classroom. As such, I foster a sense of inclusion, safety, and relations to meet every student’s needs. I cannot wait to grow with each and every one of the members of this school community!
