In my three years at Wildwood, I have been able to share my experience as a high school teacher with our senior students to help prepare them for their transition from elementary school. My understanding of the expectations at the secondary school level influences my teaching style as I am able to provide guidance and support in preparing our students for their future education. My teacher-created courses and knowledge of curriculum help tailor my instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students.
My teaching philosophy centers on encouraging critical thinking and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to learn. Building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues is crucial to my approach, as collaboration and communication enhance the overall educational experience.
